Research revealed that Tai Chi offers many benefits to matured adults (e.g. balance, muscle strength, flexibility and reduce emotional stress). From fitness/sport perspectives, we need to ensure that the movement details are well explained and easy to understand, especially the transition between forms. Thus, to minimize the risk of injury and to enjoy the benefits from Tai Chi Chuan.
Tai Chi Chuan is a moderate form of resistance exercises, the intensity level can be advanced through the rhythm and the techniques. Same as all types of sports, stretching exercises will be necessary for warming up and cooling down sessions.
We offer free practice group session at 9:30am every Tuesday and Wednesday (except Public Holidays) at Discovery Bay Plaza
(outside Wing On). This one-hour Tai Chi Chuan practice session covers “8 Forms 5 Steps”, Yang Style 24 Forms, 32 Forms and 85 Forms. This is particularly suitable for people who have some knowledge for these Tai Chi Chuan and want to re-establish this routine. Come join us!
